Caspar Goodrich Collection, 1862-1933.

The collection includes official correspondence, notes and texts of lectures Admiral Goodrich delivered at the Naval War College, other writings including the edited manuscript of his memoirs, extracts from the diary of his grandfather Captain James Goodrich, and a scrapbook of newspaper clippings on the Spanish-American War.

Rear Admiral Casper Frederick Goodrich, was instrumental in the founding of the Naval War College and served as that organization's President 1897-1898.
